Agenda:

5:30 - 6:00 p.m. - Registration/Networking

6:00 - 8:00 p.m. - Dinner/Speaker Presentation

Successful negotiation is both an art and a science, as no two negotiations are the same. Political (internal or external), economic, cultural, environmental, personal and or a variety of other factors will present themselves in different ways in different negotiations. You cannot control these variables, no matter how talented a negotiator you are. This session will provide attendees with the foundations of why and how to influence and persuade one’s counterpart, explore and deliver value propositions, how to prepare for the pending negotiation, how you present yourself as a negotiator, and how you offer acceptable solutions that create more value.

Joanna Shea, CEO of the Negotiations Collective, will present relevant research and techniques on how to apply a combination of FBI hostage and corporate negotiation techniques to the everyday negotiations project managers face. Specific learning points include:

  • Negotiation and Conflict styles
  • Engagement Tactics
  • Persuasion, Influence, and Power
  • Negotiation Strategies

Ready for create MORE? You should be.
