Marketing and Communications Manager

Description:

PMI Canadian West Coast Chapter caters to the project management community from a broad spectrum of industries and organizations. With audience engagement being one of the prime drivers, we communicate regularly through various platforms such as website, eBlast (email), social media, annual reports, etc. The Marketing and Communications Manager will work closely with the Board of Directors and the Marketing and Communications team to develop and execute communications plans.

Qualifications:

  • Proficient in spoken and written professional and English.
  • Enthusiastic approach to takeon new opportunities and challenges.
  • Commitment to navigate our internal operations to achieve the best team and business results.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Self-starter and able to initiate actions and work with fellow volunteers to improve the Chapter's operational productivity.
  • Focus and attention to detail are crucial qualifications in this position.
  • Good sense of humor and team spirit.

Social Media Manager

Description:

On our social media channels (Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and YouTube!), regularly promote chapter events, announce education opportunities, update chapter news, share project management articles and more. As a Social media manager, you will engage in sharing content on Social media channels.

Qualifications:

  • Must have an experience of various social media platform especially LinkedIn.
  • Must have sufficient experience with creative design tools such as graphic design and video editing software
  • Must be fluent in spoken and written English, especially spelling and punctuation.
  • Work with fellow team members, share ideas, develop and document processes to improve the effectiveness of Social Media.
  • Be a self-starter who initiates action and works with fellow volunteers to improve the portfolio's (and the Chapter's) operational efficiencies.
  • Absolutely team and collaboration-driven.
  • Focus and attention to detail are very important for this position.
  • Appetite for innovation and new ideas is very welcome.
  • Good sense of humor and team spirit.
