Description
The Outreach Manager will be responsible for assisting the Director of Outreach in developing and executing a strategic outreach plan that aligns with the goals and objectives of the PMI Canadian West Coast Chapter. This position will work closely with the Director of Outreach to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including potential members, sponsors, and industry partners, and create opportunities to promote the Chapter and its services.
Reports to: Director of Outreach
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Director of Outreach in developing and implementing a comprehensive outreach plan that identifies and targets potential members, sponsors, and industry partners.
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders through regular communication and networking opportunities.
- Assist in identifying and securing sponsorships for chapter events and programs.
- Work with the Director of Outreach to develop and implement marketing strategies to promote the chapter and its services.
- Collaborate with other chapter leaders and committees to ensure alignment and consistency of messaging.
- Attend and participate in relevant industry events and conferences.
- Track and report on outreach efforts and results to the Director of Outreach.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in marketing, sales, or business development.
- Strong networking and relationship-building skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience in event planning and coordination.
- Familiarity with project management concepts and practices.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and other relevant software applications.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.

The PMI Canadian West Coast Chapter (CWCC) is seeking a proactive and creative Content Creator to join our Membership Team. The Content Creator will play a crucial role in capturing and promoting the vibrant atmosphere of CWCC's Membership events through engaging and visually
appealing content for our chapter's social media platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
- Attend PMI CWCC Membership events and activities to capture high-quality photos and videos for
use in social media content. - Develop creative and compelling visual content that aligns with CWCC's brand and messaging.
- Collaborate closely with the Membership Team to understand event schedules and content needs.
- Edit and enhance captured media to ensure a polished and professional final product.
- Generate engaging captions and descriptions to accompany social media posts.
- Stay up-to-date with social media trends and best practices to continuously improve content
strategy. - Assist in maintaining a content calendar to ensure a consistent and timely online presence.
- Engage with the CWCC community on social media platforms to foster interactions and respond to
comments when necessary. - Collaborate with other team members to brainstorm new content ideas and campaigns.

Desired skillsets:
- Proficient in photography and videography techniques, with access to quality equipment.

As a Copywriter, you will play a vital role in crafting compelling and engaging copy for our Membership team's communication materials. Your primary responsibility will be to create content that effectively communicates the value of PMI membership, drives engagement, and encourages participation within the project management community.
Key Responsibilities:
- Content Creation: Develop clear, concise, and persuasive copy for various platforms, including website content, email campaigns, social media posts, newsletters, and promotional materials.
- Message Alignment: Collaborate closely with the Membership team to ensure that all copy aligns with the chapter's mission, goals, and branding guidelines.
- Engagement Enhancement: Craft engaging headlines, taglines, and calls-to-action that inspire members to take action, participate in events, and explore membership benefits.
- Editing and Proofreading: Review and revise copy to ensure accuracy, consistency, and adherence to grammatical and stylistic standards.
- Communication Collaboration: Coordinate with other teams within the chapter to gather information and insights necessary for creating accurate and impactful copy.
- Innovation: Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging communication techniques to continuously improve the effectiveness of our messaging.
