About this session

Organizations continue to look for greater success with their strategic initiatives, and agility remains a growing force in how these organizations are executing and delivering on their initiatives.

The transformation to an organization becoming more agile is a mindset, where it is more about BEING agile than DOING agile.

This presentation will take a closer look at the results from PMI's 2017 Pulse of the Profession annual survey entitled, Success Rates Rise: Transforming the high cost of low performance, and explore how organizations are increasingly embracing agile as an approach for managing projects and how organizations are different and that, "one size does not fit all". Moreover, this presentation will discuss how Hybrid approaches may be more appropriate whereby, it is not necessary to use just one approach for an entire project.

Attendees will hear how agility requires a balance - not a battle of choices, and how highly agile organizations focus on, and leverage both people and process to drive agility.
