In May 2016, BC Hydro - Capital Infrastructure Project Delivery (CIPD) PMO applied for the PMO of the Year Award. PMI announced in late July, after reviewing all international applications, that BC Hydro was selected as one of three finalists, alongside Entel S.A. and Parker Aerospace. The winner of this award will be announced at the PMO Symposium taking place in San Diego, California from Nov 6-9, 2016.

Yes! Another PMI Canadian West Coast Chapter follow-through. The Chapter, as part of its ongoing support of the Wideman Education Foundation, invited and recognized the SFU Winning and Runner-up teams of the WEF 2016 Wideman Prize Competition. Members of the teams attended the June Monthly Dinner event and shared a few words about their projects and on their experience as competition participants.
