• 2:00 – 5:30 pm: Arrive & Collect tickets for the gondola at the base of Grouse Mountain & ascend

• 6:30 – 7:45 pm: Presentation as well as  Q&A session
• 8:00 – 9:00 pm: Networking

🎤Featured Speaker: Owen Bishop

Owen is an emerging leader in construction project management, currently serving as Assistant Project Manager at Northland Properties Construction on the Grouse Mountain Blue Gondola Project.

Originally from Alberta, Owen moved to B.C. in 2020 to pursue a career in film. Supporting himself through carpentry, he developed practical skills in small-scale builds, problem-solving, and on-site adaptability—skills that organically led him to construction project management.

Owen actively applies the PMBOK® framework to improve site operations, team collaboration, and risk management. His rapid growth reflects a hands-on mindset—focused, adaptable, and driven to learn by doing.

Transportation

The event ticket is valid  from 2:00 PM for those who wish to enjoy the mountain’s live attractions. The main program begins at 5:30 PM.

We recommend arriving at the base of Grouse Mountain by 5:00 PM to allow enough time to take the Skyride gondola to the top. Please plan your travel in whichever way best suits your situation.

Public Transit

From Downtown Vancouver:

• Take the SeaBus to Lonsdale Quay.
• Transfer to Bus #236 Grouse Mountain, which goes directly to the base.
• Approximate travel time: 45–60 minutes.

Driving by Car, Carpool or Modo 

• Address: 6400 Nancy Greene Way, North Vancouver.
• Paid parking is available at the base of Grouse Mountain.

Alternative Transportation

• Uber, Lyft, Taxi  are available throughout Vancouver and North Vancouver.
• Groups are encouraged to plan ahead to share a ride for convenience and cost savings, if that’s feasible.
