Description:

When today’s organizations think and initiate project, they look beyond the services and products delivery. In fact, most organizations authorize their projects with the anticipation of achieving certain benefits, building new capabilities or improving their operations. This big picture, including benefits management and realization were not traditionally the focus of project managers.

Latest project management standards and publications emphasize the importance of involving project managers in the efforts and activities of managing the benefits expected from their projects. From identification to realization and sustaining benefits, tomorrow’s project managers should expect more involvement and increased role.
This session discussed what project managers need to know about benefits management to improve their performance and increase the success chances for their projects.
