PMAP Director 

The Apprenticeship program is currently in need to fill 3 volunteer positions to run the upcoming PMAP intake for 2019-2020. The positions are open to working professionals, and recent graduates with a passion in Project Management that is willing to take on the challenge. 

Qualifications

  • Must be a Member in good standing in the PMI CWCC and holds a valid PMP Certification
  • Prior project management and/or event management experience with other mentorship programs preferred
  • Exceptional communication skills, including the ability to present the PMAP program details to large audiences
  • Strong networking skills and ability to reach out to academic institutions to advertise the program

Director Apprenticeship Program Director/s is/are responsible for:

  • Marketing the PMAP program to increase traction, as well as to recruit mentors and mentees to join the program
  • Reaching out to different universities across BC and to act as the liaison and point of contact for any questions or inquiries regarding the program
  • Ensuring the execution of the program including but not limited to, overseeing the distribution of program students across the PMI CWCC Chapter’s portfolios, creating and implementing the enrolment campaign schedule, developing an effective mentor-student matching process
  • Finding process improvements including and up to the closing of the program by conducting lessons learned session and/or following up with and address any concerns that may arise
  • Implement key events such as the orientation/kick-off, mid-program networking, and program completion/graduation
  • Manage and monitor the distribution of relevant program documentations such as tracking sheets, PDUs, reimbursement documents
  • Reporting to the CWCC Board on the status and progress of the program including enrolment numbers, student progress and mentor-mentee meetings
  • Host/attend any PMI related networking events as per PMI CWCC President

Time Commitment

  • During active phase 10-15 hours a month, time investment will decrease to 5-7 hours after completion of students’ enrolment
  • Must be available to answer emails on a regular basis
  • Must be available to visit Academic Institutions to advertise PMAP program
  • Minimum commitment of 2 years (2019-2021)
