Powering the Future of Work through Projects
In an increasingly complex and fast-moving world, the nature of work is evolving. Against a landscape of accelerating disruption and technological change, the workplace is becoming increasingly agile and “projectized.” As a result, professionals around the world also need to upgrade their own capabilities and develop the right mix of technical and “power skills” to effectively lead teams and turn ideas into reality.
We will welcome LuAnn Piccard of the PMI Board of Directors. LuAnn will share her perspective and actionable insights on the global trends impacting how work gets done - and the role that the PMI community is playing to prepare both individuals and their organizations to thrive in The Project Economy.

Leah and CWCC
Leah has been working as an IT professional for 30 years. She is a full-time telecommuter and loves the flexibility of having a work-life balance. When she is not working or volunteering, she spends time with her husband and kids. They love to 'yelp' and check-in new food joints and new dishes. Since their kids are both almost grown-up, Leah and her husband seem to have more free time in their hands, they started a small garden and harvested cherry tomatoes, lettuce, kale, mint, and spring onions.
Because they are in BC, with plenty of places to walk and hike, they try to go outdoors as much as possible, as time and weather permit.
PMI Professional in Business Analysis (PMI-PBA)® Boot Camp Course
Regardless of job title, project professionals are being asked to not only manage a project, but to also elicit, specify, and manage requirements. Prove to employers that you have the business analysis skills by earning the PMI-PBA certification.
This is a virtual, self paced course created and taught by 1 of 4 core authors of The PMI Guide to Business Analysis, Cheryl Lee.
