Murilo Travers Outreach

We want to acknowledge Murilo Tavares for his contributions to the Program team. Despite having joined earlier this summer he by has made tremendous strides in contributing to virtual events in July and October. His efforts have led to our first cross-organizational collaboration with the Association of Change Management Professionals (ACMP), with our latest virtual events "Navigating the Cross-Roads of Project Management & Change Management". A self starter Murilo has been able to create momentum with minimal guidance, providing creative ways of delivering values to our members.

Murilo and CWCC

Murilo is a results-oriented professional with a strong passion for people, process, and product excellence. With 15 years of experience in the tech industry, he has developed expertise in project management and Agile methodologies, successfully delivering multi-million-dollar projects in both IT infrastructure and the software sector.

Throughout his career, Murilo has held key positions in major tech enterprises, including a notable role at IBM Brazil in 2008, where he played a pivotal part in the fusion of two significant banks—one of them from Europe. As a senior project manager and agile coach, Murilo showcased his adaptability by navigating between data center construction and call center projects, adeptly applying traditional waterfall principles from 2013 to 2016 before transitioning to a completely Agile transformation in the software industry. In 2018, recognizing the evolving demands of the software industry, Murilo embraced the Agile mindset, guiding organizations through transformative journeys.

Firmly convinced of the power of innovation and flexible work practices, he promotes collaboration within motivated, cross-functional teams, empowering companies toward the successful adoption of the Agile mindset. Murilo firmly believes that success lies in discovering innovative ways of working and promoting collaboration within motivated, cross-functional teams.
