The Canadian West Coast Chapter was the subject of a membership engagement study conducted by Rableen Nanda, a Masters candidate at Royal Roads University. Research coupled with surveys and focus groups have resulted in an subjective evaluation of our chapter and it's services meeting the needs of members. We are pleased to announce the final project has been completed and the findings compiled in a paper titled "Enhacing Member Engagement for PMI CWCC Members".

In May 2016, BC Hydro - Capital Infrastructure Project Delivery (CIPD) PMO applied for the PMO of the Year Award. PMI announced in late July, after reviewing all international applications, that BC Hydro was selected as one of three finalists, alongside Entel S.A. and Parker Aerospace. The winner of this award will be announced at the PMO Symposium taking place in San Diego, California from Nov 6-9, 2016.
